Love Ends on Time

Melbourne singer and producer BlaininC puts out his new slow synthwave single "Love Ends on Time" through Slice Records on 24 October 2026 It's his first solo release on the label, following this year's Still Life EP with Robodop Snei as Interstellar Travellers. The name BlaininC is literal: Blain, in the scale of C. Blain Crellin learned classical piano in the 1970s, played synthesisers through the 80s, and from 1989 to 1991 presented the 2am to 6am shift on Melbourne's Triple R. He started releasing music as BlaininC in 2021. Since then he's put out the Street Walker EP and the Gravity in Motion LP (2022), the seven-track Water World LP (2025), and the single "I'm Home (The sky it falls)" in May this year. “Love Ends on Time” is slow, moody synthwave built around Blain’s voice. Hazy synths and a low, rolling bassline give it a late-night pull, and the vocal keeps it warm and human.
