An eccentric artist who makes music and has an unusual concept for music videos and artworks. I used to be mostly active with videogame music covers but now I'm prioritizing more on original stuff with cats, nature and more unusual, unfiltered stuff. Not everyone's cup of tea. Mostly metal but not suitable for trves, sorry!

All tracks are 100% original compositions, and so is the artwork and more related stuff. No collabs and no real instruments, but totally real feels. Musically this is hard to define, but I'd say it's mostly instrumental synth metal with a wide array of influences and elements both inside and outside metal (electronic, folk, ambient, orchestral... so much of varied stuff!). So you may like or dislike, but definitively no one could say it sounds like more of the same we all are used and tired to hear everywhere nowadays. Originality and creativity is always over 9000! Just listen without fear, okay? ;) And yeah, the title "The Last Placeholder" is because this might be the latest one in the "Placeholder" series (you may check the previous ones directly in Bandcamp). Whatever comes in the future is uncertain. Anyways... I hope you like. Thanks in advance for counting with us for the new trip to the Unknown Lands! All tracks composed, arranged, programmed, produced, mixed, etc by Unknown Pseudoartist at New Bedroom Studios (the Ancient Computer is gone) between August 2025 - July 2026. The actual album is the tracks 1 to 13. The rest is bonus tracks. Track 14 includes collaboration work by colorado weeks (vocals), Jett Swole (guitars) and Tuile (lyrics and individual track artwork), originally done for the community album "Dreams". Track 16 (bonus track) was inspired by a drawing by This_Human2660 at ArtFight. No cats, birds, humans or any other animal kind was harmed. Special thanks to the people from ThaSauce, a host for music compos, especially OHC and 2HTS, where most of these songs were born. Initially done the raw, short drafts in 1 or 2 hours and later developed them a bit to have a proper full structure and slightly better mix. Still pretty much a bunch of demos, tho. Maybe someday I'll pick some of these songs and recruit a ton of talented performers to make them shine as deserved.

Songs of Light and Darkness

Songs of Light and Darkness

A tribute to the music of games like Terranigma, Illusion of Gaia, Actraiser, Soul Blazer and Robotrek. These unique games made by Quintet in the 90s for the SNES. Totally unforgettable masterpieces with awesome soundtracks that rarely gets any love from other VGM musicians (we'd add an exception for Actraiser here, tho). So here we are to make some justice. Once again it's hard to define this in terms of genre or style. I move mostly into metal as usual, but so much of variety and influences both inside and outside metal... And some tracks go just a bit too far from the line this time. My previous VGM album, "Songs of Phantasia", is now pretty conservative in comparision! So you may expect lots of rock and metal but also lots of clarinets, flutes and other things. Just like its title "Songs of Light and Darkness" suggests, you may also expect lots of dark and light stuff, oftentimes combined in a same vibe. There's plenty of quality, quantity and variety, and not a single second of boredom of repetitiveness. 15 tracks and still place for some bonus tracks with demos and "not so cool" arrangements of even more tunes from these great games. This time I'm also lucky to count with someone (The Vodoú Queen) who helped on the mastering to make these tracks to shine, so you'll notice all sounds better than my usual stuff. Besides her, the album has a lot of talented performers in all tracks, as usual for my VGM arrangements. Are you ready for the journey? You'll go throughout a bunch of dark and light moments. Moments when you are impulsively headbanging, moments when you want to cry, moments when you want to just chill around, moments when you want to dance... there's a lot of stuff in barely 40 minutes of music, you are warned! ;)
