Illuminated Memories

Vapor Idol

Following an extended period of isolated contemplation, Vapor Idol has emerged from the cosmic haze to deliver their album debut, Illuminated Memories. Sidestepping the bounds of space and time, Illuminated Memories melds vintage grooves with modern sampling and synthesis. The rhythms come straight from the 1960s, from Liverpool to the Motor City, to provide the foundation for unexpected sonic explorations. From the catchy lo-fi melodies of Subsonic Zone to the cheerful festivities of Disharmonic Carnival, every track has a story to tell, taking the listener on a journey that’s equal parts fresh and familiar.
