Astrea

Astrea is the first major release and debut album from Vector Dust, a cinematic electronica music project from a North Carolina based producer. The eight track long concept album was written through the winter of 2025/2026 and released on the 2026 summer solstice. This album was originally conceived as a score for a science fiction film that doesn't exist: a voyage to a foreboding ice giant in the far reaches of an alternate-universe solar system. Mastered by Rafael Anton Irisarri at Black Knoll (NY), this collection of tracks build and dissolve tension across the arc of the journey, and end in foreboding ambiguity.
