‘Stony’ is a work that is seeking the grassroots through memories of emotion and land. The compositions tour through layers of nature scapes recorded throughout the years on the area of the Stony River, fortunately unchanged, allowing me to revisit the land of where my memories lie, my childhood with my mother, the smells of earth after fire and rain, the scenery through different seasons and the sounds of the bush on the east coast of Tasmania.
