The dead of night, February 32nd, 2000. aliens made brief contact with Earth. Unfortunately, the space dwellers misfired multiple abduction beams to the wrong rooms. The lone mothership (the fathership absent at the time, abducting cows) took custody of fifteen motherboards. Within the ship, the computers were shaped into something completely new. Optical drives became optical illusions. Hardware and software became some ware in-between. Monitors were monitored. Plastic cases and glass screens became vibrant colors, newfound textures. Apologetic, the aliens returned the computers to their homes, forever upgraded.
