EP - Arid

ARID is a 2022 release from Active Dark Filament on WEATNU Records. The cover image portrays the dichotomy created by the climate crisis, where regions of the world are victims both of fire, and paradoxically, of water. The music is sequencer-driven electronic music with many influences, including ambient, jazz, industrial and progressive rock. On this EP, there is a greater use of unusual time signatures.
