Originally released on Asonu: asonu.bandcamp.com/album/crowded-silence "Crowded silence" is comprised of two longform compositions that utilize a contrasting mix of recordings captured in very busy places (a game area in a shopping mall, a crowded square, a traffic jam...), and in quiet places (a field recording in a natural park, an inner courtyard early in the morning,...) there are sounds from everyday life, like walking the dog, stirring a cup of matcha tea and other sounds taken from contact mics, a guitar and other sound objects... Originaly released on Zeromoon zeromoon.bandcamp.com/album/the-snake-charmer-mentally-deaf These pieces were built from contact microphone recordings, processed through effects chains, and feature guitars, along with sleigh bells, hand bells, cowbells, and other metallic objects. The concept of the snake charmer emerged as I attempted to tame the unpredictable feedback; I found it wasn't always possible. It would persistently reappear, like an enchanted snake, unable to escape its inherent nature. Mentally Deaf tries to capture a state of internal disconnection where only some overtones are able to pierce through the silence. Recorded and mixed at Autodetuned Studio in April - May 2025
