Crowded silence

Originally released on Asonu: asonu.bandcamp.com/album/crowded-silence "Crowded silence" is comprised of two longform compositions that utilize a contrasting mix of recordings captured in very busy places (a game area in a shopping mall, a crowded square, a traffic jam...), and in quiet places (a field recording in a natural park, an inner courtyard early in the morning,...) there are sounds from everyday life, like walking the dog, stirring a cup of matcha tea and other sounds taken from contact mics, a guitar and other sound objects... Recording locations include the Spanish cities of Plasencia, Madrid and Córdoba, the National park of Monfragüe in the Extremadura region in Spain, and the Cotes d'Armor department in Brittany (France) Recorded and mixed between September 2025 and February 2026 Cover photo by Juan Cepas Design by Thea Maloney
