The Legend of Yuki-Onna

Wherever on this globe the season of Winter does exist, there are people coming together around the warmth of a fireplace and tell stories about the winter spirits. One of my favourits amongst this spirits is Yuki-Onna, the japanese snow women. She is like winter itself, full of otherworldly beauty but also deadly at the same time. She wanders around when the snowstorms roar and brings death upon unlucky travelers... But she also has a softer side. One of the most well known tales about Yuki-Onna is the tragic love story between her and a young woodcuter. This album is ment to be a soundtrack for said story.
