My debut album under the 'John Titor's Time Machine' name. I was in a kinda weird time in my life where I was stuck doing a dead end job and wanted to achieve my dream of becoming a famous musician lol. I played guitar pretty much all my life but never committed to it since I hadn't been diagnosed with ADHD at the time. Once I got diagnosed in 2023 and began taking medication I started practicing guitar everyday and got to a point in early 2025 where I felt confident enough to make and release my own music. I released my EP first (called 'Another Thousand Summers for the Glittering World') in February and got such positive feedback that I decided to immediately start working on my first album. After a six week crunch I released 'Garden of Delights' to the world and it's been history ever since. Thanks to everyone who has supported me in the past 2 years and I hope the John Titor project lives to see another year in the big 2027! Turn on, tune in, drop out -Millard!
Recorded between August 2025 and January 2026, 'John Titor’s Time Machine' is the culmination of six months of hard work, many sleepless late nights, and obsessive refinements and revisions. It is a concept album about John Titor (a time traveler from the year 1998) being trapped in an alternate timeline where Joseph Smith successfully turned Mormonism into the biggest religion in America. Soundtracked and influenced by the likes of Squid, Siouxsie and the Banshees, and The Police, it chronicles the tale of a lone time traveler unwilling voyage into a eco-brutalist hellscape that is inspired by the works of Ray Bradbury and Aldous Huxley! Rough Mixes is the second effort by monobeat original, the band of the founding member of Faust, Zappi W. Diermaier. Comprising 12 tracks, Rough Mixes, covers a remarkable amount of ground across its journey - disassembled Krautrock, dirty psych, hypnotic prog and deranged industrial-, all the while sidestepping the canonized understanding of what transpired musically within Germany during the 1970s. Vast in scope, immersive and strange and overwhelmingly beautiful. Writhing and deeply organic from start to finish. Industrial, martial and ritualistic, Rough Mixes pays homage to his focus on dynamism, rhythm and the potential of certain “concrète” materials. Absolutely incredible and creatively brilliant, its yet another crucial piece in a puzzle that’s far from complete.
The Greenfield Park EP traces a delicate interplay between organic textures and delicate sound design, crafted with a modular synthesizer and field recordings captured during a cabin retreat in the Catskills mountains of New York. Across its five tracks, a quiet tension emerges between the natural and the composed, offering a meditative glimpse into the project’s wider environment. The EP drifts from experimental ambient soundscapes into intricate IDM, touches on krautrock motorik grooves, and unfolds into vertiginous textural crests The accompanying video assembles a collage of the surroundings of Greenfield Park, NY, where the EP was created. Built from footage captured on analog Hi-8 tape, it weaves these fragments into a fluid visual narrative that reflects the project’s tactile origins. Exploring the interplay between pattern and chaos in nature, the video lingers on subtle details that quietly informed the direction and texture of the EP.
