halfdead started as a project for me to collate my sound design and compositional work, however as it evolved internally it became sort of an alter ego. following the end of my time in college, I looked towards different inspirations and found myself enjoying this medium of sound more and more, creatively taking things and destroying them then rebuilding up to somewhat calm listeners. this music of course that I am referring to is ambient music. in august 2026, after going on a walk taking photos of nature and making ideas in my notebook of things I wanted to do, I decided to get knee-deep in writing for a new release, this being what would become halfdead's self titled debut album.
